My name is Rayne Vosters. I am the owner and operator of Raynee Days Riding Stable.
My husband is Kevin. We have 2 children Candace and Eric. They have blessed us with 6 grandchildren. 2 of my grand-daughters share my passion of horses and it is neat to teach and show them all I know.
Horses have been my passion since I was 6 years old. To own a business of this nature was something I knew I wanted when I was 10 years old. It is important to me to share not only my riding knowledge but my knowledge of how to bond with these animals on the ground. It is important to me to see what my horses needs are so that in return they give themselves to me willingly. I feel it is my duty to share what I know to those who want to learn
I have gone to and participated in many clinics and workshops, but mostly I am self taught. My greatest teacher was my horse Candy. She took me and made her wonderful student. She took me well beyond my comfort zone and I thank her daily for that. I take great pride in what I know in regards to natural horsemanship and it shows through my horses. I have also broke horses and trained horses for people on the side.
The connection that I feel with these animals is like no other. I have often been referred to as the horse whisperer and that makes me smile. That right there helps me realize that I am indeed changing the world one horse at a time. I feel a great sense of peace when I am with my horses and I know you will feel that too.
I would be honored to show you and share all of my horse skills with you.
My services include, ground work, lessons, girl and boy scout badges, yoga with my horses, birthday parties, along with training your horse. Unfortantly I do not offer trail rides we are a lesson facility.
Thank you and I hope to meet you soon.
Ground Work: Building self esteem, learning how to free lunge with body language, decisive movements, confidence and control
Working as one: Team building/developing a relationship with the horse
Grooming: A calming, relaxing, bonding experience with the horse
Free Riding: Individual rider assessment -- start with rider's current experience and build on it
Strengthening the family foundation: Using horses to work together (for individual and their family member(s)
Bilateral Stimulation: Using the horse's natural gait to stimulate the brain bilaterally with focus on enhancing confidence and self esteem
Tiny Tot lessons: are great for the younger children who want to become accustomed to horses and learn about them too. Lessons run for 30 minutes. I have found that this time frame provides a long enough time for most 4-6 year olds attention spans.
Ground lessons: for 4-6 year olds: Most children 6 years and under do not have enough motor skill or attention span to develop on their own how to safely handle and or ride a horse on their own.
By doing it this way we are slowly introducing your child and the horses.
Ground lessons would include learning: Basic horse tack what it is how to use and clean it, Basic horse anatomy, Basic horse grooming along with hoof cleaning, Basic horse leading, Basic horse lunging, horse behaviors, Basic horsemanship and how to bathe your horses. I will show your child how to bathe a horse weather permitting.
Your child will receive beginner instruction on simple horse knowledge and tasks. This is perfect for those parents who want their children to have experiences with horses, but in a way that allows the child to develop at their own pace within a safer environment.
I charge $25.00 per hour and $20.00 per 1/2 hour. If you interested, I can also give lessons on the basic care of horses.
